Become a PRO Surgeon, Doctor, and Nurse, and perform very tedious, and challenging procedures like the Central Line placement.
Inject the patient with lidocaine, find the subclavian vein, and insert the needle very carefully, while guiding a wire through the vein to the heart to supply medicine, fluids, and draw blood for tests!
Insert the wire ever so carefully with precision, remove the needle, and place the triple lumen catheter over the patient in this complicated 20 step procedure!
PICC Lines are also very challenging!
Also known as a percutaneous indwelling central catheter, PICC lines are used for long-term therapy such as antibiotics, total parenteral nutrition, and extended hospital stays where a stable line is needed to inject medicine.
